Singing has brought me joy and comfort my entire life, as

I always had this big dream of becoming a great singer, however growing up, I was never hyped up like a lot of the people around me. I would  get a compliment every here and there, but I almost lost the joy of singing being so concerned on whether or not people would go crazy over my voice. It has for the longest messed with my confidence trying to compare the praise over my voice with others.

I put my heart into every song I sing, however, more important than becoming the best singer ever, my focus is writing songs that reflect my life and the world around me. I hope my words and my voice will invite you into the zone where time stops and reality happens.

I love what I do and I love my voice as it is mine. I am excited share with you all the many sides of Ajane. Since finding building the confidence within myself self, I have performed in small social settings, open mics, and was even an opening act for the Carefree Black Girl Cookout in Los Angeles.
